This 9-hole, par 3 executive course is designed in a parkland style, with tree-lined fairways that are generally flat. Numerous hazards come into play, including several bunkers and two ponds that affect play on three holes. The greens are small and flat and offer some challenging pin placements.
Blue tees: par-27, 1,342 yards
Red tees: par-27, 1,153 yards
The 16.7-acre course was founded by Ernest and Anna Kallander in 1970, Stonybook was one of the few par-three public courses in Massachusetts. It was purchased by Joseph and Margaret Sullivan in 1983. Their son, Keith Sullivan purchased the course from them in 1997 for $450,000.
The course was sold in early 2016 to Yingsum Tsui of Dover for $600,000. According to Sullivan, Tsui intends to transform the 16.5-acre site at 70 Valley Road into an organic farm,
